xapian 作为开发来讲，灵活很多，但是需要自己来搞indexer和searcher。mysql的全文索引要借助DBI来做。

sphinx 不多讲，讲一个字段权重的东东：

0. using SPH_EXTENDED searches

1. $q->SetWeights($array)

2. $array = array(‘field1’=>4, ‘field2’=>3, ‘field3’=>2) );

3. field1, field2, field3 is the fieldname in the sql_query.
